Last week I received a phone call from Thomas telling me that he and his fiance were eloping in San Diego and they needed a photographer. I feel very fortunate to have been part of their day. Instead of a big wedding with lots of planning, these two opted for something far more intimate and romantic. And what could be more romantic than getting married along the bay in San Diego?

I met Kari and Thomas on the day of their wedding. Kari's friend, Tracey and myself were the only two attendees. I teared up a little bit as they said their vows and watched them kiss for the first time as man and wife. These two are truly a special couple.

Children

Jesse and I spent last week in Cincinnati. I finally had the chance to visit my family and friends after a two year hiatus. There are babies everywhere! We spent some time at my grandma's house and two of my cousins stopped by with their kids. More babies! I took a few quick ones but in hind sight I should have taken a lot more. We were all hanging out and talking so I didn't want to ignore everyone and start taking a bunch of pictures. Although, I would have loved doing that too!
